ACS First Flight to First Solo Training Pathway
Product Details

A structured introductory flight training programme designed to take complete beginners from their first flying lesson through to their first supervised solo flight, subject to individual progress and instructor assessment.

The ACS First Flight to First Solo Pathway is a structured introductory flight training programme designed for individuals with no previous flying experience. The course provides a guided and supportive route from an initial handling lesson through to the point at which a student is assessed as ready to fly their first supervised solo circuit, in accordance with UK CAA requirements and ACS instructor standards.

Training is delivered on a competency-based basis and combines practical flight instruction with essential ground knowledge to ensure students develop safe operating habits, sound decision-making, and a solid understanding of airfield operations. Progression to solo is subject to individual performance, instructor assessment, weather conditions, and medical eligibility. This course is not a licence-granting programme but forms a strong foundation for students wishing to continue into full PPL training.
