Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) Course
Product Details

The aim of the course is to train PPL(A) holders to the level of proficiency necessary for the issue of a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL). The flight training requirements for applicants without an Instrument Rating comprises a minimum of 25 hours of dual flight instruction, including 10 hours of instrument instruction.

Applicants with a valid Instrument Rating or Basic Instrument Flight Module (BIFM) will require a minimum of 15 hours dual flight instruction under Visual Flight Rules. The training is completed on our Piper Arrow aircraft. The avionics fit in the Arrow includes a Garmin GNS430; this significantly eases the transition when moving on to the Instrument Rating. The course pre-requisites are as follows;

1. 100 Hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
2. 300 NM Solo Cross Country Completed
3. Relevant ATPL Theory Examinations
4. Valid Night Rating
5. UK CAA Class 1 Medical Certificate
